5 Resolutions For Us Women This Year

So we are almost halfway through the month of January in what forecasts to be an acceptable year to ruminate in producing the best of you as a woman. Most men have already made their resolutions that includes their careers, family and finances. For us women, the trajectory is slightly different. We almost wait until its too late to ensue on scrupulous resolutions to revamp life.

I was wondering about this aspect from my point of view and had to conclude on taking resolute steps to follow habitually to improve my aura and spirit. So while I was busy making my list of things to comply with on a daily basis, I decided a lot of women out there can benefit from my plan, if they are inclined. So lets dive into it shall we?

As part of this post, I am assuming my optimism is true in my inner and outer beauty and I concur that being beautiful is skin deep. So for me a fresh start is to first accept that you are a beautiful person both inside and out. Having established your confidence level in securing who you are, here are a few practices that you should customarily follow this year and it all requires minimal effort but more awareness to pursue.

Get good sleep: In the hustle bustle of a woman's life, acceptable amount of sleep is a deprivation and I understand it well. But all positive days start with a good night sleep and the implication is on a rigid schedule. While women unwind at the end of a tiring day in front of the television or on the internet, they are wasting good sleep time. If you can plan an 8 hour routine that engages you to cut down on procrastinating your sleep, go for it. Good sleep is recognised to revise your health and your beauty and by now you must discipline yourself to execute the plan.

Exercise: While most women believe that execution of household chores are exercises in their own right, I want to emphasize on the fact that everyday you need atleast 20 minutes of a workout. This ensures good energy levels, a perfect skin regime, a good hormonal balance and best health benefits. From zumba to yoga,take your pick and devote 15-20 minutes for a positive workout regime that will collectively transform your life.

Eat Healthy: Drinking more water and eating organic and natural is the best regiment you need for the year. If you lead by example, your loved ones will follow. Forget about falsely enhancing beauty and focus on improving your daily habits. Choose meals with high protein,fibre and vitamins instead of cooking up junk and carbs. Restrict snacking and indulge in eating more veggies and fruits. Natural and organic is the way to proceed and always monitor your water intake.

Include 'me' time: How important is it to allocate few minutes of a day for yourself,for your thoughts and to revel in the things you love doing? Be it crafting, gardening, creativity projects, DIY's or sewing even, finding 'me' time is just not doing something on a routine, it involves pampering yourself to rejuvenate your energy levels and to increase positivity within you and around you.

Stay positive: Positivity is the vitamin of your lifestyle. If you learn to accept and love yourself despite all the brouhaha around you, you have emerged as a person. Make a list of things you do not like about yourself, and genuinely try to rectify them. Make a list of things you appreciate about yourself and remind yourself of your strengths. Accept criticism with a smile and work to improve for a better lifestyle.

This new year, commit to eating right for yourself and your loved ones, engage in exercising and spend good time discovering your inner self all the time learning to love and appreciate the woman you are today.
