Mother’s Day
It’s May already and that means Mother’s Day is around the corner. Have you started planning to celebrate? Have you already got her a nice present? If you have not thought about anything yet and would love to give her the best Mother’s day ever, here are some saviors to help make her day special.
Start her day by surprising her with a wonderful home cooked breakfast in bed. You could make Pancakes topped with blueberries and whipped creme and then just cut some fresh fruit into beautiful artistic shapes and drizzle honey all over for that touch of sweetness. Don’t forget the orange juice. Put this all on a beautifully decorated tray with a custom made Mother’s Day card and a flower vase with her favorite spring flowers. Just appreciate the glow on her face as you bring her breakfast in bed.
Doing something special for the most special person in your life is just a way to say thank you for all that she has done for you. Custom made gifts really warm a mother’s heart. Try making your own Mother’s Day cards, it is very simple and spells love all over. Of course here are my freebies that you could embellish to give it that personal touch if you run out of time.
Another great idea is to make decorative design plates. For this, you would need to scan your art and print it onto water-transfer paper available in craft stores. Once you have the printed copy, trim the image and drop the paper in water until the decal slips from the backing. Position on the plate and ta-da smooth out the wrinkles to complete. When dry, apply some varnish over the design to seal them. Please note these plates are for decorative use only.
Plan the day with your mother to include outdoor activities and soak up some sun at the beach. A picnic is a great idea if you just want to go out and have fun. Take bike rides with mom or simply go to the park. Don’t forget your camera and click away memories of a lifetime. Have fun and let her know how much she means to you.
Finally, cook her a wonderful dinner by visiting this site for some great recipies or just make her favorite if you already know.
And last but not the least, don’t forget to do the dishes and give her a hug and tell her how much you love her.
Have a Wonderful Mother’s Day.
